Welcome to the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America-Great Lakes Region's site. The World's Best Chevrolet Club, we are 100 members strong, covering the Chicagoland area, dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Chevrolets from 1911 to 1984. You do not need to own a Chevrolet to become a member, just have a love of Chevrolets. Our love is "Old Chevys" but all of our success starts with our members. Our Club developed the Last Fling Car Show into one of the few remaining all original Shows in the area. Unfortunately the Show was cancelled last year. Our venue was taken away from us and we weren't given any options. We thank all those hobbyists that supported the Last Fling Car Show over the previous 10 years. We have some great Tours, it's what we do best. We have an over-night Spring and Fall Tour planned every year. This year's Fall Tour was a 3-day event, October 2, 3 & 4, to the Wisconsin Dells area, with pictures coming soon on that web page. Our 2009 Annual Banquet on November 14 and our Christmas Party in December close out the events for 2009. Our 37th Annual Swap Meet is on January 17, 2010 and has been sold out for the last 12 years. Be sure and sign up early for The First Swap Meet of the Year at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet in Joliet, Illinois! Look through our web site and come join us and have a good time!
